      This position is responsible for collecting information from multiple electronic sources to support medical staff, performance improvement, and peer review activities. The Peer Review Coordinators will support the Offices of the Chief of Staff and the Associate Chief of Staff in developing and maintaining peer review indicators; collect indicator data on processes and outcomes to assist the medical staff in identifying sub-optimal clinical outcomes; track the status of all case reviews and prepare reports to be entered into the Physician Quality profile for physician reappointment; and to perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff, Associate Chief of Staff or Patient Safety Officer to support physician peer review and/or patient safety. The position reports directly to the Patient Safety Officer for performing the job responsibilities. The position works directly with the Associate Chief of Staff who serves as chair of the Credentials Committee of the Medical Staff.
