Requires high school diploma or GED and four years of progressive experience in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems, equipment, and devices in institutional buildings and facilities as a journeyman electrician. Prefer a Limited Electrician’s license by the NC Board of Examiners as a minimum licensing level however this is not a requirement.

• MAINTENANCE
  • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
    Duties of this position are associated with the electrical maintenance program consisting of general and preventive maintenance or construction tasks. Must be skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving techniques to locate and correct defects in electrical systems, perform electrical systems tests using electrical testing equipment and document findings. Knowledge of safety regulations, NEC and the standard practices and methods of the electrical trade are required, preferably in a healthcare or institutional facility. Must be able to climb ladders, work in small and confined spaces. Ability to interpret and work independently from plans and specifications, written work orders, or from oral instructions is required. Knowledge of design, installation and maintenance of facility electrical systems and equipment used in hospital facilities, as well as specific patient care systems is preferred. Prefer a minimum of Limited Electrician’s license by the NC Board of Examiners and requires a minimum of 4 years experience as Journeyman Electrician. Must be able to work on rotating shifts and/or set day/night work schedules as required.
    
  
  

Requires Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field and 2 years experience in interior design in a commercial or institutional setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• MAINTENANCE

  prefer applicants with considerable knowledge of institutional interior design theory and practice. Must have the ability to prepare specifications and make sound recommendations regarding the award of contracts based on price, quality, delivery terms and general reputation of the supplies. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with manufacture’s representatives, departmental representatives and others, as well as the ability to prepare high quality sketches.

  • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
    This position requires a detailed knowledge of all North Carolina, OSHA, and NFPA Codes and regulations. A detailed knowledge of CAD Technologies, drafting and blueprint equipment is necessary. Successful candidate must posses a considerable knowledge of operational theory behind mechanical architectural and electrical systems as well as knowledge of construction methods and techniques. The ability to design building renovations and additions, and the ability to write construction specifications and compute cost estimates is required.
