Nursing/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Per Diem


LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - 3014

Requires graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course, or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice as a practical nurse in North Carolina.

  • SOM AMB CARE ACC - DERMATOLOGY
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      This position is located at UNC Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center at Southern Village in Chapel Hill, 410 Market Street, Suite 400, both adults and children receive dermatological care at this location. The successful applicant will be detail orientated, able to work independently as well as part of a team, patient centered and highly motivated. Strong customer service skills are essential. Duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting physicians with procedures and biopsies, preparing wound dressings, educating patients regarding their care, stocking exam rooms, answering nurse phone line and assisting the charge nurse with supply orders and reports. The ability to stand for long periods of time is beneficial.

  • SOM AMB CARE-ACC SURGERY
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week

  • SV DERMATOLOGY CLINICAL SITE
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      This position is located at the UNC Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center at Southern Village in Chapel Hill (410 Market Street, Suite 400). This position will be part of the clinic team working with attending physicians and resident physicians in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, able to work independently as well as part of a team, patient-centered and highly motivated. Duties will include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting physicians with procedures and biopsies, preparing wound dressings, educating patients about their care, stocking exam rooms, ordering supplies and preparing various reports.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE PD - 7001

Requires graduation from a State accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course, or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice as a practical nurse in North Carolina.

SKILLS REQUIRED: DIRECT PATIENT CARE, HOSPITAL/HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE, ADULT/PEDS, AMBULATORY CARE, OUTPATIENT EXPERIENCE, BCLS

  • P&A AMBULATORY CARE ADMIN
    • Per-diem, Days
      Requires graduation from a state accredited school of nursing and one year of related nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of North Carolina. Per diem LPNs needed with experience in the following areas – OB/GYN; transplant and plastic surgery; Phlebotomy/Peripheral intravenous access. ORIENTATION IS A ONE WEEK COMMITMENT. NO BENEFITS.
