Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN)/Clinic


CLINICAL NURSE II/TIER II - 2022

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

  • ANESTHESIA PAIN/SPINE CENTER
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      Requires 2 years of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina. The RN at the Spine Center will assist a multidisciplinary spine team of physicians including Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Anesthesia Pain. Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct patient care, multidisciplinary care coordination, patient assessment, patient education, assistance with procedures and interventions, and monitoring vital signs. The successful applicant will be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, able to work independently, patient centered and highly motivated. Strong customer service skills are essential. Applicants must have experience working in an outpatient setting. BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred. Full time, days, 40 hours per week. Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, or as needed.

  • SOM P M & R AMB CARE
    • Full-time, Days,
      Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, triage, direct patient care, multidisciplinary care coordination, patient education, and assistance with procedures/interventions. Wound care experience is desired. Individual must be able to multi-task and be flexible to accommodate multiple physicians with different approaches to care. Administrative responsibilities include clinical program development and implementation, inventory control, compliance with regulatory standards, supervision of nursing staff and other related administrative functions. This position also has research responsibilities which include occasional participation in clinical trial development, implementation and facilitation. A minimum of three years of nursing experience preferred.
      SKILLS ALSO REQUIRED: PATIENT ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION

  • SOM TRAUMA/CC
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      The primary purpose of this position is to assist the attending trauma surgeons by using an in-depth knowledge of Trauma Surgery in the in-patient and out-patient settings. This position will work in a University teaching hospital specifically with the Division of Trauma Surgery, in the Department of Surgery. The Division of Trauma Surgery provides care for patients in ambulatory, acute and critical care settings, and interacts with physicians, nurses, health science students and other disciplines in various locations throughout the hospital and medical school. This position works a 40 hr/week schedule based on rounds, conferences, clinical research, and special assignments in collaboration with a physician. This position is expected to perform duties, responsibilities and most assignments with considerable autonomy and self-direction in assisting with care of the trauma patients.

  • UROLOGY CLINIC - HOSP BASE
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      Outpatient Clinic position; Monday-Friday, Days. Consists of office visits and minor outpatient procedures. Skills preferred consist of experience with catheter placement and removal, bladder ultrasound, phlebotomy, specimen collection, UA, electronic charting.
