Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN)/Surgical/OR/PACU


CLINICAL NURSE II / TIER I- OR - 2040

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

  • OPERATING ROOM

    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      Minimum 2 years of OR experience, Academic teaching center preferred. Scrub experience preferred. During dept orientation, hours will be from 7-3:30 M-F. Orientation will last a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Specialty team focus will be chosen after initial orientation. Final shift will be (4) 10-hour shifts, M-F, 7-5:30. Call is required and averages ~50 hours every 8 weeks. Overtime is possible and fluctuates based on department need and team member ability.

CLINICAL NURSE II/TIER I - 2018

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

  • G I PROCEDURES
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      Seeking experienced Nurse with at least one year experience in GI,ICU or Emergency Nursing. ACLS Certification preferred. The GI Services includes Adult and Pediatric procedure units and Motility procedure unit. The GI Procedures Unit provides two specialized areas (Memorial and Meadowmont) where both inpatients and outpatients may have their endoscopy procedures performed with state-of-the-art equipment. Patients range in age from newborns to geriatrics. The Motility unit provides diagnostic testing associated with physiology of the GI tract. RN staff provides a nurse/patient ratio of 1:1 during procedures. The Adult GI staff provides on-call for weekend biliary cases. Shift varies: Monday -Friday, 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekend on call schedule for ERCP procedures.
    • Full-time, Days
      Requires minimum one year experience in GI procedures and clinic nursing. Candidate for this position must have strong clinical skills, knowledgeable in primary care of patients. Candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and able to work within a proactive team. Duties include adult triage and assessment, patient education, assist providers with procedures, and administer medications. The GI procedural aspect for this position serves adult outpatients performing colonoscopy, EGD, flexible signoidoscopy and IRCs. RN staff provides a nurse/patient ration of 1:1 during procedures. ACLS Certification preferred. Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

  • PACU
    • 40hrs/week
      The Women and Childrens PCS/ PACU is in need of a team player that is flexible and able to communicate effectively. We offer a unique opportunity for a nurse that enjoys the challenge of caring for both women and children in both a pre and post operative setting. We are open M - F. Currently our day begins at 6am and we close at 9:30pm. There is an option of 4(10) hour shifts or 2(12) and 2(8) shifts with rotating days off or 5 (8hr) shifts. CLINICAL NURSE IV/TIER II - 2024

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing, BSN, and 18 months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting to include didactic and clinical experience in the area of assignment preferably with charge and precepting experience in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Management experience preferred. "

SKILLS REQUIRED: GASTROENTEROLOGY/MOTILITY

  • G I PROCEDURES
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week, 7:30 - 6pm
      Management experience preferred. GI PROCEDURES Full-time, Days, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, 40hrs/weekNurse with gastroenterology and management experience to assist in the management of a busy, academic GI Procedures area. Must possess excellent communication and team-building skills. Position reports to Nurse Manager and collaborates with Medical leadership.
