CLINIC MANAGER I - 4350

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Health Administration or a closely related field and two years work experience in a health care setting, with at least one year of supervisory or management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and responsible experience.

    • Full-time, Days, , 40hrs/week
      Dental Clinic Manager/Financial Manager - Duties include supervision of all clinical staff, overseeing of clinic operations, budget preparation and financial counseling of clinic patients. The Dental Clinic Manager will also be responsible for preparing and scheduling monthly staff meetings, evaluation of staff, and monitoring time and attendance for clinic staff. The successful applicant will have at least two years of work experience as a Dental Clinic or Dental Practice Manager. Prior work experience managing billing and collections for a dental clinic or dental practice utilizing an electronic billing system such as EagleSoft is essential. Working knowledge of American Dental Association regulationsand dental billing codes is essential. Dental Hygienist with one year of supervisory experienced are encouraged to apply.

    • Full-time, Days, 8:00am-5:00pm, 40hrs/week
      Practice Manager for multi-subspecialty ObGyn practice located in Raleigh. Must provide unifying on-site practice leadership and oversight and coordination of business functions, including operations, finance, compliance, and outreach toreferring practices in Wake and surrounding counties. Serves as the primary liaison to the Department of ObGyn and the UNC Health Care System. Is responsible for enabling physician and nursing leadership and decision making through routine and ad hoc interaction and reporting.

      The Network Development Specialist plays a key role in the development of new geographic business opportunities for UNC Health Care. Areas of responsibility and focus include development of geographic strategies for key service lines; identification and development of new off-campus business opportunities (start-ups, growth strategies, partnerships); development of existing hospital affiliations and relationships with other providers of care; and outreach clinic startup and integration. Work is of a highly independent nature and involves in-state travel. Specifically, this person is responsible for assessing market conditions and developing relationships to identify clinical and strategic opportunities that align with UNC Health Care’s capabilities and strategic goals. When attractive opportunities are identified, this person works collaboratively with leadership inside and outside UNC Health Care to develop programs, services and systems to respond to those needs. This will include the development of business plans and, often, implementation plans. This person is an important face of UNC Health Care to the public, and will represent the organization at local, regional and statewide meetings. An analytical approach to problem-solving, well-developed project management skills and a creative and/or entrepreneurial bent are desired.

OPERATIONS MANAGER, SCS - 4074

Requires high school diploma, five years of supply chain management experience, which includes two years of direct supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      This is a management position accountable and responsible for the management of the supply and linen distribution throughout the organization. The position is responsible for the accuracy of delivery of services to the departments it supports, handles crisis or otherwise unpredictable situations, and monitors inventory and replenishment process ensuring best total delivered hospital costs. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, and have at least 2 yrs supervisoryexperience with at least 3 yrs of supply chain management experience, OR a combination of experience and education. Candidates should have management experience with a proven track record and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers; be a self motivated team player dedicated to and capable of supporting the strategic goals and objectives of UNC HCS; have good analytical skills; and be detailed oriented.

PROGRAM REDESIGN SPECIALIST - 4058

Requires Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Human Resources, Nursing, or Education. Master's degree preferred. Five years experience in working in a healthcare setting or working with healthcare teams. Experience in participating in quality improvement teams and leading group processes; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

      This position will be responsible for conducting observations and identifying opportunities in targeted clinics to improve operational processes that support improved appointment access and efficiency utilizing various data analysis and process analysis techniques. Process analysis includes but is not limited to identifying the steps in current process, collecting data as it relates to each step looking for trends or patterns within the data and identifying any bottlenecks within the process. The Program Redesign Specialist will develop best practices and tools that support access, and will also be instrumental in providing first hand insight into the interdependencies and barriers/challenges to implementing best practices. Requires Bachelors degree in Public Health, Statistics, Nursing, or Education or a degree that results in the ability to analyze and coach. Masters degree and Black belt or Green belt preferred. Clinical quality improvement and/or outcomes management preferred.
