Allied Health and Technical/Cardiac


CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION SPEC - PER DIEM - 7013

Requires graduation from a program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation, or graduation from a special procedures program, or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. One year of experience in at least one of the following areas required: cardiac catheterization, special procedures, critical care, coronary care, intensive care, respiratory therapy or emergency department. Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire.

  • CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION
    • Per-diem, 40hrs/week
      EP/Cath Experience 2 years min.

  • ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY LAB
    • Per-diem, 40hrs/week
      EP/CAth Experience 2 year min

CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION SPEC-N - 3706

Requires graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. One year of experience as an RN in at least one of the following areas required: cardiac catheterization, special procedures, critical care, coronary care, intensive care, or emergency department. Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire.

  • ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY LAB
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      2 years of EP experience required; must obtain ACLS within 1 year.

ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER I - 3702

Requires Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, and twelve months experience in Echocardiography; or high school and two and a half years experience in Cardiology, including one year in Echocardiography; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. May consider training individuals who have completed a one-year Echocardiology program.

SKILLS REQUIRED: ADULT CARE

  • HEART CENTER @ MEADOWMONT-HB
    • Part-time, 20hrs/week
      Part time position for Outreach Cardiology Clinics. The cardiac sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic echo testing and monitoring services for adult patients according to established guidelines. The echocardiographer will be also responsible for providing preliminary diagnostic assessments to physicians through accurate reporting of test findings. Preferred Registered or Registry Eligible
