CLINICAL NURSE II/TIER I - 2018

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

  • 6 BEDTOWER-PULM./INFECTIOUS DISEASE

    6 Bed Tower provides advanced acute care for patients with pulmonary and infectious diseases. 6 Bed Tower is equipped with dual channel telemetry and cares for patients requiring higher levels of oxygen, Bi-Pap and C-Pap. 6 Bed Tower has a friendly and committed staff with approximately 50% of the staff haivng 5 or more years experience on the unit. (31 beds)

    • Part-time, Days, Nights, Rotating, occasional weekends, 36hrs/week, 7:00am-7:30pm


  • 8 BEDTOWER A/B-GENERAL MEDICINE

    8 Bed Tower provides care for the acute geriatric and medicine patients. Our unit has been equipped to meet the special needs of our general medicine and geriatric population. There are two Advance Practice Nurses on Staff that are involved in both medicine and geriatric program development. 8 Bed Tower utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach in a Planetree care environment. We provide a supportive work atmosphere with nurses committed to excellent health care and collegial interactions. (31 beds)

    • Part-time, Days, Nights, Weekends, Rotating, 7/7:30am-7/7:30pm, 36hrs/week
      RN needed with excellent communication skills and a passion for caring for the geriatric population.

  • ADMISSION & DISCHARGE

    This position is for the new Admitting Discharge Unit. The Admitting Discharge Unit is designed as a fast paced unit to facilitate care and treatment for patients being admitted and as a comfortable supervised discharge area for patients waiting discharge transportation. RN will admit patients and initiate treatments; patients will be transferred to an inpatient bed as available. The unit also serves as a Discharge area for patient waiting for transportation. This unit will care for adult, Medicine and Surgical acute care patients. Experience and ability to multitask are essential. Will consider Part-Time.

  • DIALYSIS - IN HOUSE

    The Dialysis unit has the charge of providing dialysis treatments to any inpatient in need of dialysis. We provide dialysis treatments in the main unit as well as the Intensive Care Units. The unit cares for both adult and pediatric patient. Must possess venipuncture skills, patient assessment skills, and knowledge of Life Support System good interpersonal skills and good organizational skills. Will provide care for Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis.

    • Full-time, Days, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, 40hrs/week
      Provide adult and pediatric Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. 4- 10 hour days with occasional Night relief and OC responsibilites. Must possess venipuncture skills, and knowledge of Life Support Systems, good interpersonal skills and good organization skills.

  • IV THERAPY TEAM

    IV Team nurses have advanced training and skill in the assessment of venous access needs and placement of peripheral and central venous access devices. Our mission is to provide expert evaluation of venous access requirements and facilitate timely placement of appropriate vascular access devices using state of the art technology. We are committed to teamwork and “best practice” ideals as a means of achieving positive outcomes for patients requiring infusion therapy.

    • Full-time, Days, Evenings, 40hrs/week
      PICC RN. Requires a minimum of fours years of clinical nursing experience, of which at least 2 are in a specialty care setting (i.e. ICU or high tech vascular access team). The successful candidate will have excellent clinical assessment and communcation skills as well as demonstrated proficiency with venous access and procedurally oriented skills (hand/eye coordination and motor dexterity). Adaptabilty and a desire to work in a fast paced environment are essential. 8 hour shifts, some weekends. PICC certification required.

  • MEDICAL ICU

    Excellence in patient care; a technologically challenging environment; collaborative teamwork in a recently expanded ICU. These are all aspects of professional nursing that you will experience in the Medical ICU. The Medicine ICU provides care for the critically ill patients with a wide range of medical and pulmonary diagnoses. Our nurses have a strong sense of teamwork and are continually teaching and learning. MICU offers a great opportunity to grow in your nursing profession. Requires 1 year of nursing experience.     • Part-time, Days, Nights, Rotating, every third weekend and rotating holidays, 36hrs/week

CLINICAL NURSE IV/TIER I - 2020

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing, BSN, and 18 months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting to include didactic and clinical experience in the area of assignment preferably with charge and precepting experience in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Management experience preferred.

  • 8 BEDTOWER A/B-GENERAL MEDICINE
    • Full-time, 40hrs/week
      8 bed-tower is seeking a registered nurse with above average leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, who enjoys the quality focus of nursing and enhancing the customer experience. Must be self-motivated, self-starter, creative, able to work independently and prioritize effectively.

PATIENT SERVICES MGR III-IP-U - 9209

Requires graduation from a state approved school of professional nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in N.C. by the Board of Nursing. Bachelors degree required, MSN or graduate degree in related area preferred, one degree must be in nursing. Three years of professional nursing in tertiary care. One year management experience in specialty area required or a combination of education and experience.

  • 6 BEDTOWER-PULM./INFECTIOUS DISEASE
    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      Exciting management position in a 31 bed Infectious Disease and Pulmonary Specialty Medicine Advanced Acute Care Unit. Nurse Manager works with the Medicine Service Management Team and is responsible for clinical practice and operations of a well established medical unit. Position requires an individual with a strong customer service track record, solid written and verbal communication skills, good financial skills, along with a strong commitment to quality and proven track record of nursing leadership. A BSN and 2 year relevant clinical experience is required. Management position works primarily Days but may work occasional weekends/Nights as needed; 24/7 accountability.
