Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN)/Emergency/Air Care


CLINICAL NURSE II/TIER I - 2018

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

  • CRITICAL CARE TRANSPORT

    This position is with the Adult Critical Care Transport Team. Position is rotating shifts and rotating bases. Must have minimum 3 years experience in ER or Adult ICU nursing, 5 years preferred. Must have or obtain NC nursing licensure prior to employment. Must have certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, Trauma, with instructor level in at least one, prior to interview. Must obtain NRP within 1 year of hire. EMT-Basic certification required within 1 year of hire. Must be able to lift 150 pounds with partner. Must meet weight requirements and be able to work in the aircraft environment without restriction. Working environment is in a Helicopter and Ground Ambulance, some time is spent working outdoors.

  • EMERGENCY ROOM
    • Part-time, Evenings, 2:00pm-2:30am, 36hrs/week

      This position is with the Carolina Air Care Adult Critical Care Transport Team. This position requires rotating shifts and rotating bases located in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Fayetteville. Each applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in ER or Adult ICU nursing with 5 years preferred. Must have or obtain NC Nursing License prior to employment. Must have certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Trauma, with instructor level in at least one, prior to interview. Must obtain NRP and EMT-Basic certification within 1 year of hire. Must be able to lift 150 pounds with assistance. Must meet weight requirements and be able to work in the aircraft environment without restrictions. The working environment is in a helicopter and ground ambulance with some time being spent outdoors.
