    The Cardiac ICU is a 13-bed critical care unit specializing in the management of patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. These include myocardial infarction, acute decompensated heart failure/cardiomyopathy, pre-and post-cardiac transplant, cardiogenic shock, unstable dysrhythmias and multisystem organ failure. CICU nurses are precepted to successfully manage intubated and nonintubated patients with multiple vasoactive drips, pulmonary artery catheters, intra-aortic balloon pumps, transcutaneous and tranvenous pacemakers and continuous renal replacement therapy. The nursing staff is in this unit are part of the hospital wide code response team.

    One year of stocking (warehousing or receiving) experience required.

    • Full-time, Days, 40hrs/week
      The successful candidate should be a detail-oriented person who is able to perform inventory management and receiving functions, which includes the use of handheld devices for accurate counting and replenishment of supplies on nursing units and clinics and therefore requires the ability to count and perform repetitive tasks. This job requires great interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact and communicate with coworkers and customers. This job also requires heavy lifting and handling of stock and non-stock items.

      Stock Clerk responsibilities include: Ensure High Quality Customer Service as defined by UNCH Core Behaviors. Receiving and storage of product from multiple suppliers. Complete building of patient specific supplements. Maintain floor-stock inventories and deliveries to your assigned floor(s). Maintain sanitation of storeroom areas. Follow Organizational Policies and Procedures. Requires lifting of heavy items up to 50+ pounds.
      SKILLS ALSO REQUIRED: FOOD PREPARATION, FOOD SERVICE, NC DRIVERS LICENSE (valid)
