Note: This online process is incompatible with Internet Explorer version 5.0, Internet Explorer version 8.x, Netscape version 4.6 or earlier, and Opera browsers. You will need Windows 98/2000/NT/XP/Vista as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader for completing and viewing the online application. We recommend you use Internet Explorer 6.x or 7.x.

Warning: You will experience problems if you do not wait for the next page of the application process to load after hitting the continue button. Do NOT hit the continue button again until the next page is completely displayed. If you do not wait, you may not be able to complete your application.

Problem: I get an error while reviewing my application. The error message has "Invalid Character" at the bottom

Resolution:
Press your browser's Back button until you get to the Resume entry page. Open your Resume in your word processing application (MS Word). Save your resume as a 'TEXT' document. Close your word processing application. Double click on the new document to open the text document using a text editor such as NOTEPAD. Copy the text from the NOTEPAD resume file and paste to the resume text area in the job application. Click Continue.

Problem: My browser locks up when I hit the continue button.

Resolution:
Press the "Back" button. If your browser responds, the browser is fine. Most likely the server is responding very slowly or not responding at all. .
If the browser does not respond when you hit the "Back" button, you may have a temporary problem with your browser or your PC. If you can open another browser window and if your PC is working normally, report the problem.

Problem: I hit "Submit" and I get a file dialog asking me to save a file .

Resolution:
When you click the "Submit" button, a PDF file is generated containing the information you entered on your application form. The file dialog window appears when you do not have the Acrobat Reader™ installed or configured properly. You can choose to save the file or cancel. If you save the file, enter a file name with an extension of *.pdf (MYAPPLICATION.pdf). You can install Acrobat Reader™ later.

Problem: I get an error message when I enter my phone number or address.

    Resolution:
If you are entering a phone number or address from outside the US or Canada, you will still need to enter a phone number and/or address that meets the US standard. If the field is a required field, you will not be able to complete the application process unless the data is entered according to US standards. If you do not have a valid US phone number or address that fits the field on the form, modify your data to complete the form. You may then include the correct address and phone number from your resume when you paste it into the application form. You may also fax us (919-966-6918) to request a paper version of the application.
